Hello All,

One can use

smoothDist6s -input test.bun -output stest.bun -rippleWavelength 1 -factor 1 -rippleAmplitude 0.1 -smoothPasses 10 -energyMod 1 -betaSlices 12

to introduce energy modulations in the bunch.

Is there any way to make current density modulations?

Alex,

Yes, this script does both types of modulations. Use the -rippleWavelenth and -rippleAmplitude options.
