The overlap between the Workshop and the Conference will allow FEL users and FEL developers to interact and to define future trends and development of FEL facilities. Presentations should focus on application research and experimental techniques relevant to the utilization of FELs. Issues common to the user and FEL communities will be the subject of a joint session.
The four sessions of the Users Workshop will provide forums for:
A joint Conference and Workshop banquet will be held on Thursday, September 12.
The members of the FEL Prize Committee invite you to make a nomination for the 2002 FEL Prize, which will be awarded at the 24th International FEL Conference this September. The FEL prize is given each year to the person who has contributed the most to the advancement of the field. The prize winner will be chosen from nominees by the FEL Prize Committee.
