Hi, Michael
As for ELEGANT, I know there is a specialized tool "csrImpedance" to estimate CSR impedance with wall shielding. Is there an easy to use this calculated result to feed into subsequent ELEGANT tracking within a dipole? or, would CSRCSBEND take this wall shielding into consideration in near future?
Thanks,
Cheng-Ying

Re: CSR with wall shielding
Cheng-Ying,
Sorry for the delayed reply.
There isn't a way in elegant to include shielding effects in CSR except using the csrImpedance program in combination with the ZLONGIT element. That approach allows including CSR in a turn-by-turn fashion in rings, but isn't suitable for cases where CSR is strong enough to require including it on a dipole-by-dipole basis.

Thanks, Michael!
Now I know more of the situation.
