Dear Michael,
I wanted to calculate touschek lifetime in the presence of an Id in my ring. While I wanted to calculate momentum aperture I got an error.
Error: No survivor found for initial scan for W0 #1 at s=0.000000e+00m
can you take a look to my files?
Many thanks in advance,
Samira

Re: Lifetime calculation with an ID in the ring
Samira,
I found two issues with your setup. First, you set the rf cavity phase using the wrong convention. It should be 180-22 degrees, not 22 degrees, for phase stability. Second, you have ISR=1 on all the KQUAD, KSEXT, and CSBEND elements; this will introduce a random element into the tracking, which you don't want for momentum acceptance searching.
See attached file.
