Hi all,
is there any way to constrain the Twiss parameters INSIDE a quadrupole?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Re: Constrains inside Quadrupole?
I mean, I know that you could define a quadrupole which is the half of the width and put a mark in between. So, if I want a quadrupole with a total width of 0.25 m, I would do:
in the .ele file:
...
Q1: QUAD,L=0.125,K1=-0.5397597812035915
M1: MARK, FITPOINT=1
...
and in the .lte file:
...
BLINE: LINE=(...Q1,M1,Q1, ...
...
But is this the best solution to do that?
Thanks a lot in advance, again!

Pau,
Splitting the quadrupole is the only way to do this in elegant.
