Hi Michael,
I am optimizing a triplet lattice with permanent magnet quadrupoles for a variable energy transport line. The issue is very low transmission values which is not surprising because optimizing for small spot-size at short focus results in small bores for the magnets. I would like to know if there is any clever way to go with optimizing the transmission values in general. I used the MARK Element.Particle, which crashes on Pelegent (zero division error) - that I assume is no longer an issue with the updated version ( I am still using elegant 34.2.0) - but runs fine on elegant. However, this in my case does not bring about any improvement in the transmission values.
Any input will be much appreciated.

Re: Transmission optimization
Neeraj,
I suggest performing a series of optimizations with gradually smaller physical apertures. This might allow you to push the solution in the direction you need.
