elegant2astra

Post by Seong-Yeol Kim » 30 Oct 2017, 10:09

Hello,

This is Seong-Yeol Kim of Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) in Korea.
I am using the ASTRA and ELEGANT code, and I would like to convert the elegant output file
into the ASTRA input file. However, when I use the command 'elegant2astra', there is a error
with this message.

-bash: /cygdrive/c/Program Files/APS/Elegant x64/elegant2astra: /bin/csh: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

I am using the Windows, and cygwin. And I installed the cygwin program with default setting.
Could you let me know the solution for this problem?

Thank you!

Do you have the csh interpreter installed? Try typing csh from the command line. It is part of thy Cygwin package. You will probably have to rerun the Cygwin setup script to add it.

Dear Soliday,

Yes. I installed shells in the cygwin, and it works now! Before that, I did not install the shells. I think that was the problem.
Thank you so much!
