Hi Michael,
Yunhai is asking about a feature to read the 3D field map for dipoles. So is it already in the 30.1 version, or is it a special version not released yet? How possible he could use it?
thanks,
Yuantao

Yuantao,

Sorry for the delayed reply. I was away.

There are two methods for using 3D field maps for dipoles. The latest is called "BRAT" (Bend RAy Trace) and has easier input and setup than the older one (FTABLE).

It's available in the present release. However, there are some issues with the path-length computation, which will be fixed in the next release. I hope the next release will be out this week or next.

Michael,
also this bug (https://www.aps.anl.gov/Accelerator_Sys ... f=19&t=692) seems not fixed yet in my 30.1 version. Hopefully it will be also included in the next release together with the 3D field map fixing.
thanks,
Yuantao
