File error while running elegant

I am using Elegant for simulating electron bunch generated from a
photocathode and allowed to travel through a 2.6 cell Rf structure.I am
using Windows 10 64 bit operating system. I am still trying to learn the
software and to start, i am running some of the examples. I am facing some
problems in running the examples i.e "Unable to open file Filename.bun for
writing <SDDS_InitializingOutput>" or "Unable to open run.mag in mode w:
Permission denied".

Please, help me in rectifying the problem.

Do you have permissions to write new files to the directory you are trying to write to? Try saving a new file in that directory using a program like Notepad to see if it has the same problems. You may have to copy the files to a new directory if you can't write to that one.
