smoothDist6s errors with -betaSlices

Hello Michael/Bob,

when I use the smoothDist6s with using the -betaSlices option, it crashed at the last step of adding slice-to-slice Twiss variations. For example, if I set -betaSlices 20, it still tries to work on the 21st slice, then comes error, of course.
It was working before, and I don't think I changed anything recently. so please let me know how to work around. Thanks.

Hello again,
I just installed the latest version of sdds and Elegant to see if I have the same problem. Updates are successful. But when I tried with the smoothDist6s, there was an error of invalid command of "APSStandardSetup". Can you remind me how to set up this? Is there a package for this setup?

Looking at the code, it looks like it would find the files from previous runs of smoothDist6s that were done with more betaSlices and then cause this problem. Try deleting the tt2-split*.sdds files before running it and see if it works.

As for the other problem, you need the OAG Tcl/Tk package installed if it isn't already.

the APSStandardSetup is solved, thanks.
But I still have the problem of trying to analyze one more slice than what I have requested. I removed all the files from previous runs. And it is interesting that it works up to betaSlices =13. It crashes only if I request betaSlices larger than 13.

An update:
today I am smoothing another particle file (from Astra), and it went well with -betaSlices setup. Probably there was something wrong with the previous particle file (from ImpactT)? But I used that ImpactT particle file (without smoothing) for Elegant tracking and didn't see anything wrong with that distribution. Anyway, I update the problem and will see if I understand the previous problem.
