I am a new user of Elegant and I want to study CSR effects in a bunch compressor. Is it possible to use (i.e. calling) a file of initial co-ordinates of all the particles for tracking, or the only way to generate such co-ordinates is the setup command i.e. &bunched_beam?

You can do this using the &sdds_beam command.
