Large Cx Amplitude in Beamline Model with ZTRANSVERSE

Post by Olga Konstantinova » 05 Apr 2024, 03:01

I'm trying to simulate the transverse y impedance using the ZTRANSVERSE command with BBR in a simple beamline model. The model includes elements like ILM, SREFFECTS, RFCA, and an impedance element (LST files attached). However, I'm encountering a large amplitude in the Cx value that I can't eliminate. The center position and angle have no offset and are zero, and the impedance is defined as the y-direction, so I think the question is rather why it vibrates so much in the x-direction?
