Hi Michael and all,
I find when using elegant2genesis that the slice alpha values vary in magnitude by large amounts depending of the number of slices I'm using.
E.g. going from 25 to 50 slices, can chance the slice alpha values by a factor of 10.
I'm applying elegant2genesis to a bunch with a strong chirp. Could this be impacting the calculations that are being done by elegant2genesis? (and if yes, why?). Or could there be something going on? Any ideas?
Many thanks,
Tessa

Re: Slice twiss params using elegant2genesis
Tessa,
It seems it could just be poor statistics as the number of slices is increased. Is is possible to increase the number of simulation particles that are input to elegant2genesis?
