About the aperture_data

Dear Michael,

I introduce aperture of lattice by the "aperture_data ", the aperture shape seems only is rectangle, ellipse is possible with the "aperture_data"? Thank you very much!

Cai,

Unfortunately, only rectangular apertures are possible with the aperture_data command. For more flexibility, I suggest using MAXAMP elements in the lattice file. With these, you can have rectangular, elliptical, and super-elliptical apertures, with open sides if needed.
