Dear Michael,
Hello. I am trying to simulate a single particle behaviour with a dynamic error in a storage ring to estimate the effect of RF errors.
I checked several examples, but couldn't find one that set an error that changes each turn in a ring.
&vary_elements with an external sdds file can be a solution, but it is a bit troublesome.
Shall I receive an example of a similar case if available?
Best regards

Re: Dynamic error in a storage ring
I found one in the examples "storageRingRfNoise" that is close to what I want to do
But it shows an error message below when ILMatrixSetup is executed.
Error for C:\Program Files\APS\SDDS ToolKit x64\sddsconvert.exe:
Unable to read layout--no header lines found (SDDS_ReadLayout)
Error for C:\Program Files\APS\SDDS ToolKit x64\sddsxref.exe:
Unable to read layout--no header lines found (SDDS_ReadLayout)
Error for C:\Program Files\APS\SDDS ToolKit x64\sddsprintout.exe:
Unable to read layout--no header lines found (SDDS_ReadLayout)
How can I solve this issue? It was tried on a Windows machine.
