Hi,

I am using touschek_scatter element to study the loss map as shown in the attached files.

In the Pelegant*.out file, there is a message given as

Program trace-back:
error: It appears that the Touschek lifetime is extremely wrong and there is no need to perform Touschek simulation.
If you think this is a wrong statement, send input to developers for evaluation.
*--------------------------------

Whereas, with the same data-set, I am expecting a lifetime of 5 hours.

Could someone help me check the settings in my file? How should I fixt it?

Chao,

I'm not exactly sure why that happened, but it seems related to how you inserted the TSCATTER elements. I've attached modified files that work as expected.
