Collimator type

Post by Jafarinia » 18 Nov 2020, 09:40

Hi Michael,

I was wondering why the collimator element in ELEGANT doesn't depend on the type of the material (Copper, Tungsten, ...) and just depends on the length.

Thanks,
Farzad

Farzad,

Having material properties for ECOL, RCOL, and the rest would be nice. We'll put it on the to-do list.

At present, the RCOL and ECOL elements are perfect collimators with no material properties. If you want to simulate material properties, you can use SCRAPER.
