hello,
The reference orbit have a change and is not zero.
I don't know what's the reason.
Thank a lot!

Re: what's wrong with simulation of transport line orbit correct
Shancai,
I ran your simulation but get a different result, which is attached here.
Can you tell me which version of elegant you are using? The one-to-one trajectory correction was updated in the last release, so it might make a difference.

I use the newest version elegant(22.0.1).The attachment is the log file.

Shancai,
I don't see any obvious problems in the log file. Can you make a tar file of all the output files and post it?
Also, what operating system? 32 or 64 bit?
Thanks--Michael

Shancai,
I can confirm that there is a problem with your simulation for recent versions of elegant. The reason is that you are using CSBEND elements with the default integration parameters. These defaults are not good for most cases (this changes in the next release).
Try setting N_KICKS=12,INTEGRATION_ORDER=4 on all the CSBEND elements. It should fix the problem.

Re: what's wrong with simulation of transport line orbit correct
Hi all,
I am trying to reproduce the transport-line trajectory-correction from this thread. However, I am unable to reproduce any of the trajectory plots shown here using the Elegant version 2025.2.0. I ran the same input files from the thread and plotted the trajectory output, but my results do not match either of the plots. I also explicitly tried setting N_SLICES=12 and INTEGRATION_ORDER=4 for the CSBEND elements, as suggested, but the trajectory still differs significantly. In particular, the orbit amplitude I obtain is larger than the one shown above. I would like to understand whether this is due to changes in Elegant’s correction/tracking behavior in newer versions, or whether I may still be missing some setting needed to reproduce the old results.
Thanks in advance.
-Monika
