Re: smoothDist6s error and MBI gain curve
Thank you. I didn't set the EPICS_HOST_ARCH.

smoothDist6s error and MBI gain curve
Hello Michael, If I'm not wrong, smoothDist6s is already installed with elegant. When I tried to use it for bunCompLSC example it gives an env(HOST_ARCH) error. To resolve this , even I tried to install the script by changing the env...still there is an error. Also, I want to see the gain curve for ...

Linac design for ERL
Hello Michael, As you know, in ERL after a arc of length n*lambda+lambda/2 there must be deceleration. In our case, we are using 9 cell cavity. I split up the cavity so that there is proper phase and a one module will give 25 MeV energy. It works fine. But after that arc the cryomodule again increas...

Re: Microbunching Instability Simulation with LSC
Hello Michael, There is still same error . From last three days, every time when I run the elegant file it shows different bunch length with same parameters. Sometime it shows beam radius is zero in LSCDRIFT. Error: The beam length is 9.725086e-11 s, while the wake length is 8.339102e-11 s (The beam...

Re: Microbunching Instability Simulation with LSC
Michael, Thanks. I'll check by increasing the wake length. One more thing, I've changed the lattice from MAD to elegant by python script. All the elements are same, but in elegant it gives different twiss parameters. As you can see in plots from both MADX and Elegant. How it will affect the tracking...

Microbunching Instability Simulation with LSC
Hello, While tracking with LSC there is an error that the beam is longer than the longitudinal wake function. I've tried to change different parameters but error is same. I have attached the file, please help me to figure out if I'm doing wrong somewhere. Error: The beam is longer than the longitudi...

Twiss parameters
Hello everbody,
How should I fix Terminated by SIGSEGV problem while computing twiss parameters.
Earlier there was get_para_name() error. Its fixed up by changing the editor and beamline.
Thank you in advance.
