Hi Michael,
I was trying to compile the 33.1.1 release from source on my ubuntu desktop, and it appears to me the tarball misses a .svn directory, and when I copied the directory from an older release I could successfully compile the package. Just for your information!
Best,
Zhe

Re: how to obtain the number of pages of an sdds file with one command
Thank you Michael! It would be helpful for other users as well, if you could add this usage to the online version of SDDS Toolkits user guide.

how to obtain the number of pages of an sdds file with one command
Hi,
I wonder if sddsprintout or sdds2stream can obtain the number of pages of an sdds file, or is there alternative command that can be used in a bash script.
Thanks!

Gaussian beam initialization with moments_output results
Dear Michael, It seems the bunched_beam command does not have an option to generate a Guassian beam matched to a ring lattice with transverse coupling. I understand one can initialize a beam with the result of twiss_output and track in the ring for several damping times to obtain a properly matched ...

How to add synchrotron motion in DA tracking
Hello, Michael, I wonder how to add synchrotron motion in DA tracking, since in my case the synchro-betatron resonance might be important for off-momentum particles. However, whether or not I set the value of RF cavity voltage, the DA tracking results are the same. And I notice in the given examples...

coupled_twiss_output command doesn't calculate beam sizes
Dear Michael,
I want to use the coupled_twiss_output command to calculate the beam sizes, however, it does not output the beam size parameters to the ".ctwi" file(see the attached files). How can I get these parameters?
Thanks!

The systematic and random multipole errors of CSBEND
Dear Michael,
I notice that in the definition of element CSBEND, there are no SYSTEMATIC_MULTIPOLES and RANDOM_MULTIPOLES items, how shall I deal with it if I want to include the systematic and random multipole errors of dipoles when doing DA tracking?
Thanks!

SDDS installation on Scientific Linux CERN release3.04
Dear cyao,
I want to use a workstation to do some calculations with elegant, however, the system is Scientific Linux CERN release3.04, I wonder which version of SDDS ToolKit matches it. Thanks!
