Michael,
Sorry for the typo.
LSCDRIFT elements with Effective length = 0 m (LEFFECTIVE=0)
--> LSCDRIFT elements with Length = 0m (L = 0)

Re: CSRDRIFT after WIGGLER element
Michael, Thank you very much for your valuable information. I also calculated the momentum spread (s6) without insertion of LSCDRIFT elements with Effective length=0 m in WIGGLER elements and show the result in the attached figure. The s6 slope between the entrance and exit of each undulator is almo...

Re: insert_sceffects in linacs
Michael, Thank you very much for your quick reply. Your answer may be a good news for us because we would like to use ELEGANT for low energy accelerators such as the recirculation loop of cERL if possible. LSC effects are most important and TSC effects are also significant there. We also uses GPT fo...

Re: CSRDRIFT after WIGGLER element
Michael, Thank you very much for your attention and reply. I send the elegant input files for the WIGGLER and CSRDRIFT cases. I am sorry these files are heavy in size and not well organized. The betatron functions and QM K-values are different for the two cases around the WIGGLER or CSRDRIFT element...

insert_sceffects in linacs
Hello Michael, We are using insert_sceffects for transport lines or linacs to estimate TSC effects. In the Elegant manual, this command is not designed for simulation in linacs. But in fact I could get a simulation result of cERL using insert_sceffects. I would like to know if this result is correct...

Re: CSRDRIFT after WIGGLER element
Michael, I replaced WIGGLER (or CWIGGLER) elements with CSRDRIFT elements. The simulation results are shown In the attached figure of the momentum spread along the beam path. Fig. (a) is for the WIGGLER case and Fig. (b) is for the CSRDRIFT case. In Fig. (a), there are two jumps pointed by red arrow...

Re: CSRDRIFT after WIGGLER element
Michael, I am sorry for my late reply. Thank you very much for your kind explanation about the jumps of the momentum spread. I understood that the jumps are caused by CSR effects from the CSRCSBEND elements upstream of the WIGGLER elements because no CSR effects are not computed in the WIGGLER eleme...

Re: CSRDRIFT after WIGGLER element
Michael, Thank you very much for your kind answer. However I did not well understand your explanation yet. There is a CSRDRIFT element just before the 1st(or 2nd) undulator made of many WIGGLER elements in my lattice file. So I think the 1st(or 2nd) jump of the momentum spread at the CSRDRIFT elemen...

CSRDRIFT after WIGGLER element
In the attached figure of the momentum spread along the beam path, there are two jumps pointed by red arrows. Both jumps occur at L12 elements (CSRDRIFT elements with LSC on) just after two undulators made of WIGGLER elements(UND0) and LSCDRIFT elements having the same effective length (LSCUND), whi...

Re: no momentum-spread increase in several CSRDRIFTs with LSC on
Thank you very much for your helpful advice. As you said, most of the CSRDRIFTs without momentum spread change were not preceded by any CSRCSBEND. I thought CSRDRIFT could work as LSCDRIFT when CSRCSBEND did not precede it or there was no CSRCSBEND. I will change them to LSCDRIFTs to continue the si...
