Re: SIGSEGVProgram Crash with FTABLE Element

Thank you for your efforts. I tried installing using the Elegant x64.msi file and when running elegant it says its version 34.0.0 not anything labeled 34.0.1, is this still the correct version? The website says that it was edited today so it should be the right file.
Thanks,
Ryan

Re: SIGSEGVProgram Crash with FTABLE Element

If it helps at all I'm running elegant on windows 7 using the most recent release of cygwin. It also might be the case that it has nothing to do with the FTABLE element as the error happens after a watch point.

Re: SIGSEGVProgram Crash with FTABLE Element

I just now tried to reproduce the issue at 10001 particles but it went fine. I changed the number of particles to 50001 and it reproduced the error.

Re: SIGSEGVProgram Crash with FTABLE Element

Thanks for the response, I am currently running 34.0.0. This issue is intermittent so it is difficult to reproduce. I initially thought it was an issue with processes on my computer outside of elegant, but the problem has persisted across several computers.

SIGSEGVProgram Crash with FTABLE Element

Hi, I am incurring SIGSEGVProgram issues when using the FTABLE element for tracking. I have some success resolving this issue when altering the number of particles in the bunch but this is very inconsistent and the issue is sporadic. I have attached the relevant files. Please let me know what you gu...

Thanks for the help! I think there is a security issue though, I am forbidden from downloading it.

Re: Simulating a Masking Element in Elegant

Thanks for the reply. I tried finding the .so file but I could not. I installed using the SDDSPython3.3-x64 and it only has a pyd file and the dll's in the DLL folder.

Re: Simulating a Masking Element in Elegant

It worked well, thanks! Another question somewhat related is that I have tried to install the python SDDS module but I'm getting an error "ImportError: DLL load failed: The specified module could not be found" despite having all installed files in the same directory. Any ideas?

Simulating a Masking Element in Elegant

Hello all, I am trying to simulate a transverse mask for beam shaping in an Emittance Exchange beamline. I would like to create an element that deletes electrons if they fall outside a certain arbitrary region defined by a function abs(y) > f(x). As I don't think this exists as an element currently ...
