Workshop
3: The Protein Crystallography Technology and
Logistics Collaboration
Co-organizers:
Malcolm Capel, Stephan Ginell, Lisa Keefe, and John
Rose
The
Protein Crystallography Technology and Logistics
workshop will focus on the technological
advances and goals for operations at the APS
macromolecular beam lines. Topics that the
will be addressed and discussed are:
- Design
of a common Graphical User Interface for users
of the macromolecular beam
lines.
- Improvement
of beam stability at the end-station through
application of new white beam position sensing
techniques.
- Telepresence
and remote data acquisition via network
connections.
