General Information
Locations & Meal Information
Meeting sessions will be held in the auditorium on the
first floor of the APS Conference Center, in Building 402.
Morning coffee, lunch, breaks, and the Monday night buffet
dinner will be held in the Gallery on the lower level of the
Conference Center. Maps of the APS site and Conference
Center are included in the meeting packet. The conference
banquet will be held on Tuesday evening the Argonne Guest
House.
Telephone and Messages
Pay telephones are located in the atrium of Building 401
(the APS central laboratory/office building) and on the
lower level of Building 402 (the APS Conference Center).
Messages can be left at the registration desk, via either
(630) 252-9580 or (630) 252-9581. the messages will be
posted on a bulletin board by the entrance to the
auditorium. If you need to send or receive a fax, a fax
machine is located in Building 401, room B1154 (the APS User
Office). The number of this machine is (630) 252-9250.
Computer terminals are available in the Building 401 atrium
for your use.
Transportation
Limousine reservations can be made for you during the
meeting by the conference staff; inquire at the registration
desk. Bus transportation will be provided for the conference
banquet.
Miscellaneous Information
An automated teller machine is located in the User Lounge area of Building 401. This machine accepts the following cards: American Express, Discover/Novus, The Exchange, Master Card, Plus, Visa, and 24 Access.
