The J. Ira & Nicki Harris Family Hostel is located at 24 East Congress Parkway, Chicago, Illinois 60605, approximately 1.2 miles (1.9 km) from the PAC2001 conference at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Room rates start at $17.41 U.S. plus tax per person per night, and membership in Hostelling International ($25.00 U.S.) is required. CTA (public) bus route #2 runs right past the hostel (Congress and State stop) and will take you to within a block of the Hyatt. The bus costs $1.50 U.S. northbound in the morning and $1.75 southbound in the afternoon. You should try to have exact fare because no change is returned. Please note that this bus route only runs Monday through Friday during limited hours.
