This year's poster session will be held in Building 438, pentagons A & B immediately following the first User Science session. Buses to the conference banquet, scheduled for Tuesday evening after the poster session, will leave from Building 438 and Building 402.
Conference Reception and Banquet

The Mid-America Club, located on the 80th floor of the Amoco Building on Chicago's lakefront is the site of this year's User Meeting reception and banquet. Known primarily for its outstanding continental and American cuisine, the Mid-America Club also offers spectacular views of city landmarks-Lake Michigan, the "Gold Coast," Grant Park, and the Chicago's distinctive skyline. During this event, APS Users will be able to enjoy a touch of Chicago sophistication, with perhaps a surprise touch of Chicago culture.
CAT Open Houses and APS Tour
Wednesday, October 14, 1998; 5:30-7:30 pm
This event will provide participants with an opportunity to see what's new on the APS experiment hall floor, visit with key members of each CAT's staff, and talk about recent scientific results at each beamline.
