FITFUN is a Fortran library package providing a full infrastructure of parameter control and grouping with graphics for fitting models to data. Recent improvements now extend its use from a primarily prototyping aid into the production environment of routine analysis, with an added advantage of portability to different systems. Small system differences are hidden in the code which is available as libraries for Unix, OpenVMS, Linux and PCs.
The present version now includes coupled refinements for multiple datasets; a typical example, contrast variation in a neutron reflection experiment is shown.
